Same here - I used to have two male Yorkies that lived to be 14 years old....I waited 17 years to get another one (Izzy) and I thought that I would get a different breed (my heart was broken) so it wouldn't remind me of them, but here I am with Izzy and life couldn't be better.....having her brought all the good memories back from when I had the "boys" and I never, never should have waited this long. I have family members that have small dogs (Weiner Dog and Llaso Apso (sp?) and I thought I was go that route - I even was looking at a Jack Russell cause they are sooo smart, but when I saw a picture of Izzy - there was no turning back.
