half the time people thought our Peanut was a silky when he was a puppy cuz he doesn't fit the stereotype. The best thing to do is ask a vet or someone knowlegeable in person. But generally the hair isn't as smooth on Silky's as they are on yorkies. Yorkies weight ranges from 2lbs all the way to 14 that I've heard of, but generally should be around 6-7lbs full grown. Silky's are full grown around 11-15 I think. That's my extent of info, sorry!
