I got Sami at just about 7 weeks, and he adjusted just fine, maybe because I had tilly here as well, I do understand alot of different opinions on when to adopt puppys or kittens, But all through my childhood (57 now) my parents, myself have always brought home one or the other because I
guess back then the standard normal time of separation was 6 weeks old, as long as they were weaned! even if they weren't I have weaned some of my pets myself, it really isn't a big deal to me they all survived lived a happy and well loved life. I don't believe throwing up constitutes being sick because of its age I think it is a sensitive stomach adjusting to the introduction of new nourishment, simular to an infant once removed from the breast and or bottle formula introducing the child to whole milk might cause the child to throwup, some children even have to be put on soy, goat and other forms of milk. and welcome to YT
