Mine is metal and I have always called them crates. I guess you could call it a cage if you wanted too!!
If you don't want him in your bed right now DON'T GIVE IN!! Once he's in your bed he probably won't want to go back into his crate...I know your pain with the crying and being up all night...Lillie would dose off once in a while and I could sleep a couple of hours then she would be up and crying again..Like I said...it was about 4 nights that this went on...I felt like I had a baby in the house again..(well, I guess I did!!) Believe me.....he will get used to it. There is light at the end of that tunnel! The only reason I don't let Lillie sleep with us is, my husband has restless leg syndrome and is a big man. she likes to sleep inbtween us and I am afraid he will hurt her. And...I don't get alot of sleep now with Sadie in bed with us...I would be up all night! Right now he is young. If you want him in bed with you I would wait until he is a little older...you wouldn't want him falling off of the bed. JMO
