AKC will at some point require DNA for both parents, but it will mean more breeders will leave AKC..and that means a huge loss of revenue for AKC..

$40, per DNA one in a life time seems very little to most breeders..but think about the huge commerical kennels..some have 100/300 bitches...or even the smaller breeder with 2 males and 20 females and it is a constant influx of females as oppose to males....that is $80 for the two males, but $800 for the females..so they will use ACA, CKC, APRI, etc..
