My one yr old Mickey is sick...wah, i don't know what to do.
He is lethargic (barely barked when we walked him....he normally will not shut up!) even gave him his favorite toy (that we hide) and he didnt even make it squeak (we hide it cause he will squeak it for -3-5hrs straight!)
when i went to kiss him my he was so hot...kissed my other yorkie he felt normal, his stool is also on the loose side as well. He was fine @ 10am....when we got home at 4pm he was warm and tired. Now its almost 1am and he is still the same way.
I have had dogs all my life never actually had one that got a fever...mostly colds.
When do i worry? when do i take him to the vet? I am going away for the day tomorrow to see stevie nicks in concert & now i will be worried, my sister said she will check on him a few times.....but he is my baby, so of course i will be worried anyway.
