Well, not that my opinion means anything (You know what they say about opinions they are like a.. h... everybody has one. LOL) but I've always been against putting any kind of chemical on my dogs. I know my vet is well respected and he says it's safe but I DO NOT LIKE TO USE IT. I have used it in the past, but only once when my Newman (May he rest in peace) was on the beach with me and we walked through a trail and he became infested with fleas. Truthfully, I think you are better off just checking them daily and if they do get some fleas, use the "Dawn Dish Detergent Method" to get rid of them. Works like a charm and there is no worry.
