I was just wondering around what age should you start grooming?

Abby is 5 months old and the hair on her face is getting in her eyes, and her hair on her feet is getting what seems to be to long. Also her "elimination" is now getting stuck in her fur on a daily basis.

I was thinking of taking her to the groomers but i've heard that you shouldnt do it until they are one year old?

Is that true?
