And how do you handle heat with your yorkies? I give them water all the time and mix it with a little milk, they love that so I know they will drink extra - but is there anything else I can do?
They are both cut short haired and we have provided shade for them in the outdoors.

Here is Texas, it is not uncommon for the temp to reach 100 or more each day. Maggie plays outside for a hour each morning and a hour each afternoon. She has a wading pool that she jumps in when she plays. The rest of the day, she is sacked out in the air conditioined house. We also have two big dogs, which stay cool under a misting system, installed on our breezeway and deck.
