Rain I Know what you mean....

But it's not the same. The children will be in daycare or grandma will watch them. My mother will take care of the kids but she can't have dogs in her apartment. The cats are self-sufficient and have each other. They don't need to be walked or cleaned up after. I would like to add a cat door but I can't do that with a small puppy around. All of the cats were strays before I got them, and refuse to stay indoors. That leaves one VERY LONELY energetic dog at home alone from 8am-7pm. By the time I get home I am EXHAUSTED and need to spend time with my son. I am only 25 and money is very tight in our household. I CAN'T not work or we won't be able to pay the bills. I am not giving this dog the kind of home he needs. In addition, my pregnancy was unexpected and I'm already panicking about how we'll be able to do this. At least I love my dog enough to admit that I can't give the kind of attention he needs.
