Yes, other people have reported feeling the "heaviness". I don't know about people who lived here before us. They have also witnessed the lights, the television, the lamps, the putting things down only to find them someplace else - but all of those things have other explanations that "could" be the cause.
The only things I really can not come up with any sort of alternative explanation for are the last time the cabinets were opened, my shoes moving, and the atmosphere.
