update Thanks you guys... I just got home, waiting for J to get home and have dinner and then I'm going back down there while J stays home with Jacob.
She's doing about the same. They're keeping her hydrated/fed with an IV and I just spent the afternoon holding her and Jacob. She seems like she's given up already, she doesn't want to move, nothing. Just lays there. Jacob was such a good boy today, he pet her nicely and didn't pull her hair (something we've been trying to work with him for a few months now). It's almost like he knew she was in pain.
The vet said we should know within the next day or so if the treatment is working. She'll either slip into a coma (OMG I can't even think like that) or she'll start to recover. He said it's best that I spend as much time as I can with her, he truly believes she can feel the love and that will help her not be in so much pain.
I can't begin to express how much you ladies mean to me. I honestly don't know if I could get through this without you all. I truly, truly appreciate all of the love and support and prayers you ladies have shown me (us) during this rough time. And thank you Deb for starting a thread on YT for Molly. We need all the prayers we can get. |
