I'm pretty sure that My Fair Lacy was not "child-bashing." She was just sharing her experience about trying to shop. I think what she was trying to say is that children should not be allowed to go wild in a store and the parents not do anything about it...She in no way was saying to leave your children at home or anything like that.
Imagine this...You go into a store where someone has a dog in there that they're letting bark and snap at people...Would you not say "Wow, some people are so annoying...Why can't they get their dog under control?"
It's the same thing...The OP is just saying that people should be responsible with their children, pets, etc.
Children should not be allowed to run around acting all crazy while their parents ignore them. Dogs should not be allowed to run crazy in a store. It's not right. The OP is not saying that people shouldn't bring their kids shopping, she's just saying that people should be able to discipline their children.
