I use the Outward Hound Look-Out, but I don't think it's nearly sturdy enough to protect Demi if the passenger airbag deploys. I also have the problem of Demi wriggling out the side of it and hanging by her harness. |
The console seat straps around the part of the console that lifts up and then there are two other straps that come off the back end that go through the driver and passenger seat (between the seat and the seat back) to secure it to the car.
We love our console seat and we also have the Snoozer My Buddy Lookout which is really too big for my two girls, but for longer trips it is comfy. We tried other car seats and carriers as well and they hated them. With the Snoozers, we've never had a problem and I know they will be as secure as possible in case of an accident.
