Luigi had hookworms as well when I first got him. Vet told me it couldve been from the mother or they can definitely get it from soil. The meds seem to work well, depending on how severe the hookworms are (a lot or little amount). But it'll go away! Just keep at it with the meds! I thought Luigi's would never go away, but after 2 wks, they were gone =) Good luck!
