Sydney loves to chew on ice cubes...so anytime she is panting I give her one. It usually cools her down fast. Also if I put 4 or 5 ice cubes in her water bowl she will paw at them trying to get them out and in the process gets herself soaked with ice-cold water. This also cools her down.
