I used to get smart remarks now and then from the people I worked with about how I spoiled my dogs and the money I spent on them. I never let it get to me and always started asking the person what they spent on fishing boats and gear or golf bags and clubs or whatever they liked to do. Everyone likes something they are willing to spend money on to enjoy and some hobbies are very expensive. I also asked them if they ever got any love from their fishing boat or golf cart or new dress. Always shut them right up!
