I know I have said this before, but I was very fortunate or better be prepared with my boy Winston...I swear he was trained the very first day we brought him home, at 8 weeks. He goes outside to potty, he did it before we brought him in the house and he has never went potty in the house. He would probably explode before he would go potty inside...he is now 3 years old. Unbelievable I know, but very true, honestly.
I swear by it..do not bring a new puppy in the house...do not let his paws hit the floor. Take him outside immediately when you bring him home...keep him outside until he goes potty, he eventually will, it may take awhile but he will go potty...then praise him...make sure he knows that is what makes you happy. Then he will constantly want to go outside to potty, because it makes you happy...and he will know where to go...outside only.
