Coby is 6 months old and isn't allowed yet. How I did it with my older one is that I'd go to bed early enough that i wouldn't fall asleep. If he laid down and was quiet he got to stay. As soon as he started fidgeting or getting riled up, he went to his kennel. He started lasting longer and longer until he got to stay all night. (I also slept with his leash on my wrist, so if he tried to leave the bed, I'd know.) Eventually, he got to stay. I can't wait until Coby stops being a rodeo clown and can "sleep" with me!!
