All I have to say is not everyone likes dogs, not everyone likes cats, and not everyone likes children. I know a lot of people that prefer to not be around children and there is nothing wrong with that. Like I said, I don't mind being aorund well-behaved children, but even then only for certain lengths of time. I've looked at dogs before and thought "thank goodness my dog isn't like that one" and there have been times I've been annoyed at things my own dog has done such as pulling at her leash and barking at a dog she sees walking by. No one, even those who LOVE children, should have to be followed around by two children who are running around them and getting in their way while they are trying to shop. Their parents should have been responsible and had their children stay right there with them. What if those kids decided to run out the door and got hit by a car or if someone in the store grabbed one and took of with her? I'm just not a kid-person - I'm an animal-person. I have friends that aren't really animal-people and it's hard for me to understand that sometimes but that's just how they are. And I've already said this but I in no way hate children. I actually really like babies as long as they aren't screaming - I have a picture of me, Lacy, and a friend's baby on the table beside me. I even judged a state baby pageant this summer so sometimes I have fun being around kids - I just wish they were all well behaved - and this comes back to the parents...
