To add to this - many dogs are a little obsessive/compulsive - sometimes paw licking is just that - a habit - we had a cocker that did that and it was only cause she LIKED to do it -
The cocker I have now, Tessa....does this and sneaks a few nibbles on her nails - she actually CHEWS her nails but tries to hide it - it's pretty funny - I have to file them cause she makes them jagged. |
