Mine know all the names in our family (mommy, daddy, & our kids names). They know the names of the dogs next door. They know the basic commands and they know, outside, go potty, pick up (when we pick them up, they turn and position themselves for us to pick them up), bye, cheese, no bark, they know alot of their toy names, they know the word bath, (we have to spell it), night night, and probably more I am forgetting. They know when they see a green bag that it has flossies in it. When my husband comes back from traveling, he always brings them a treat and they will root around in his bag and find it. Carley (who likes to go) understands when we say "yes, you can go, or you have to stay here" she will pout if we say she has to stay. These are smart little guys, it doesn't take them long to pick things up. Mine are both just over a year old.
