 Bell Training
Yes my yorkies are bell trained.How I did it was quite simple every time I took them out as puppies I would ring the bell that hung on the door knob and say "do you want to go out?" making sure that they were on the floor by the door because it is so easy just to carry them out. Though we did have our fair share of accidents they seemed to catch on quite fast. One thing that is important is to keep the bell on a long string so that they can reach it. don't let them play with it as a toy when they do catch on to ringing the bell treat this as "cause and effect" ringing the bell equals going out to potty rain or shine.Don't get discouraged you will get some fails alarms at first.Hope this is helpful good luck!!
