She fears paperback books. Once I was reading, and dropped my book on the floor, she was nearby so it fightened her. Now, if she sees me reading, she runs away from me. I have put a paperback on the floor and she wont go near it, walks clear around it.

Too funny. I guess you don't have to worry about forgetting to feed her! That's also funny about the paperback books!
