i agree, he probably picked them up outside from another animal that got in the yard (wild or domestic) Or because the rain washed it in. Are your dogs on a monthly heartworm pill? Interceptor protects against three intestinal parasites and adult hookworms is one of them (others being whips and rounds). Heartguard Plus also treats hooks and whips. If your dogs are on these meds and he got the hooks then you can write to the company and tell them. They will pay for treatment most likely (if you purchased said products from your vet)
