Dallas has had yucky poop since Saturday. It was pretty runny. He'd poop several times a day in the house.
Then, I noticed yesterday that he had bloody jello type poop. I got a stool sample to take to the vet which only cost $8.
Turns out, Dallas had hookworms.
I asked how he got them and and the vet said it could be from direct contact from another dog.
My dogs stay home and aren't exposed to other people's animals.
My only guess is that he got them from all the rains we've been having and eating grass and my poor plants that he likes to rip out of the ground. What is your take on this?
Anyway, got pills for everyone (fur wise) in the house and am wiping everything down with Clorox clean up spray. Don't want to take any chances.
