I have a lullaby maker that sits clips onto the top rail of the cot and projects lights and pictures around the room. It's also got a display on the front that shows a series of pictures that are colourful and the whole thing is brightly coloured. It still goes with my theme but is more colourful. I'll get colours from keepsafe items and teddys and things too.
Thanks for the suggestion though, I didn't know that about the colour red, I'll keep that in mind when looking for extras.
