It's a proper baby doppler that I can listen with and also record my baby's heart beat or my own hear beat.
I always hear the whooshing sound as well but manage to listen to baby's heart beat only for a couple of seconds. They said on the box that I can hear the baby's heart beat from 10 weeks(obviously not).
Hopefully I will hear it soon.Fingers crossed.
