It would be best to wait and get the pup at 10-12 wks.
I got Slade at 7 wks, but when I was away from home for any length of time I was worried sick that he wasn't eating or drinking like he should and I would come home to a sick puppy. However, he has turned out okay, but I have another dog to show him the ropes and teach him proper social skills. |
