here in va the new recommendation the vets states is the puppy can leave as soon as 7 weeks but i think this is too young. i have let mine go at 8 weeks b/c the my mommie was growling and snipping at them so much....they had been weined for 4 weeks and on their own hard food. they had been vet ck'd and had their shots so i didn't feel like keeping them here any longer was to their best interest. although i hate to see them go, i think getting them into their new home where training can start with the new parents was ok.
i still feel 10-12 weeks is best but you have to look at each situation to determine if it is right for the puppy.
