three years ago i had a litter of puppies and one of the puppies was found to have a heart Murmer she was a tiny little girl so we ofcorse didnt sell her and started our path into caring for a puppy with a heart murmer. after about a month my vet said he had a vet teck who wanted to talk to us. and she told us how she would love to adopt the little girl and my vet chimed in that he would cover all the medical expensise for the tec. after some talk and promises from our vets we let this vet tec adopt Katie well after about 6 months katies Murmer was gone no trace of the Murmer but being so tiny she had a double set of teeth the tec decided at a year and a half and time after time checking her heart and it being healthy to go ahead and have the teeth pulled and alter her at the same time ... katie was only 3 pounds .. she make it out of the surgery and out of the drugs but that night had a heart attack and passed away. this was so hard on our new friend and on us everytime we would come in with puppies for check ups she would get misty eyes well yesterday when i took Loki in for her checkup i brought Simi with for moral support our vet teck took one look at her and wouldnt give her back. Simi was kissing her and you could tell it was love at first sight .. my mind was made up right there it was the perfect home for my baby. knowing that our friend couldnt afford one of our yorkies I made her a once in a life time offer the vet tec was crying a lady with a lab was crying i was crying and my poor vet couldnt get help to hold loki. i always say the perfect home is the most important thing. and the way Simi looked at her new mom made me wonder if katie did come back for a second chance
