Thank goodness Tatum is so small so I don't *think* she could pull hard enough to the velcro to snap, but you NEVER know. However, Stedman will do exactly as Lola did and pull and tug on the leash if he sees another dog (he FREAKS out and barks like crazy trying to get to them) - so I really have to watch him. BUT - ever since I bought one of the Silk Harnesses from Cindy (chattiesmom) which is NOT velcro...I have been walking him with that. I need to get my order in for Tate's! We just LOVE these harnesses! I do feel MUCH more secure when walking them with a harness that DOESN'T have velcro.

Big hugs to little Lola and I am so sorry that you guys had such a big scare!
I agree - Chattiesmom's harnesses are the absolute best - very secure - but with absolutely nothing around the neck to choke our babies. And they are gorgeous too. She has a variety of colors, made of silk so they don't mat our Yorkies' hair, with matching leashes, and adorned with Swarovski crystals!!

Thank God that Lola didn't get hurt!!
