What kinds of table scraps are you giving your Yorkie? It is okay to give a dog homecooked food, but it has to be a balanced diet made especially for them. Ellie gets homemade meals, but they are made for her out of ingredients that are very healthy for dogs. I would get some Canidae dog food, if you can't homecook, and add cottage cheese or chicken pieces (no skin, no fat) to it.
