You could ask your vet about trying
Interceptor instead. It uses a different worming medication than the Heartgard. She might not have a reaction to that.....
Also, the Interceptor does come in a smaller dose so they get less medication. They have one for 2-10lbs (instead of up to 25# like the Heartgard)....
