yeah, i am very big on second opinions. My vet didn't outright tell me she needed surgery, he said he didn't like what he saw in the x-rays and wanted me to see a specialist. he thought she MIGHT need surgery. he even told me that the specialist might tell me to just leave her in a cast...but he didn't want to make that judgment call. He wanted me to hear it from someone who specializes in this stuff.
