If she was indeed mated, you need to take her to the vet for that x-ray. It tells the vet not only how many puppies but also if the puppies can make it through the birth canal. Your dog may need a C-section since the male was so large--don't waste time --get that girl to the vet for the x-ray. And after she delivers--and hopefully survives, have that girl spayed immediately.
