Are there any unique qualities about a Yorkie you could share? Thanks.
I'm sorry if I was talking like a yorkie was the only toy breed that had special qualities. Toy dogs just seem to need a closer contact with their owners, and are more demanding of attention. I was just trying to say that sometimes little dogs have a harder time sleeping through the night until they can hold their little bladders better. I wouldn't be as confident at putting a toy puppy of any breed in the basement unless I was sure I could hear them if they needed me. Toy puppies can get hurt a lot faster and a lot worse than a larger puppy. I wanted her to know it doesn't last forever, they do grow up. My Sawyer didn't sleep with us until he was out of the puppy stage and started to sleep through the night. Not all yorkies sleep with their mommys, that is a personal choice, the same as with all breeds, large and small. I'm sorry if I offended anyone, I am just so in love with my yorkie that I think of them as a special breed
