We are currently in puppy class and Toby is learning using the clicker and hand signals. We were told that dogs can learn up to 200 signs. So with every command you give we should associate a sign. So Toby knows the signs/commands for sit, come, down, touch (where if I put my hand down like in the video, he will come and touch it), and stay so far. Now he knows the commands from the signs without me having to say the actual command. It's really cool training technique. |
