I cook about once every month or two and freeze the food (if i could i'd make it fresh every day but i'm at university student.. not going to happen ) if you want to read a GREAT book on getting started Dr. Pitcairn wrote a book all on homecooking you can find at Barnes and Noble or somewher like that
That said if you don't think homecooking is for you (and it's not for everone) Orijen, in my opinion, is THE BEST FOOD.... there are no grains in it as dogs dont' really need them.. they are just fillers.... it is 70 % meat and 30% fruits and veggies. you can get it at most healthy pet stores, usually small and locally owned. but make the transition slowly. Also good foods are Fromm, Wellness, Canidae,

Do you cook one thing or a variety? I would love to cook for Zoey, but Im afraid I dont know what Im doing? Freezing sounds great! If you have a good recipe for something I can freeze please share! PS Love your signature!
