My hubby said we are staying put as well, unless it gets really bad. The last time there was supposed to be a hurricane headed our way (Rita) - we evacuated, boarded up all the windows, bought TONS of bottled water, booked a hotel room about 3 hours away, packed up all of our important papers, covered furniture, loaded up FOUR animals in the car, the whole works. We drove all the way to our destination, then got a phone call that Rita went right passed us
Which is GOOD - but what a WASTE it all was!
I guess it's better to be safe than sorry - but my husband said NEVER AGAIN! lol
