Hi & welcome!

I think if you are sensible about this and with the right training it can work.
I have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and he was brought up with a 6lb Yorkie, she passed away in may this year and i am now awaiting the arrival of another little girl next month..and i have every confidence in him as he is used to small dogs and he is very gentle & obedient..but i would not ever leave him alone with a little one..not in case he would be aggressive, but because he can be a little clumsy sometimes! I'm going to be giving him just as much attention as i do now when this new baby arrives, and probably more, because i would not want him to become jealous..stick to their usual routine and it shouldn't be a problem.
