I would get a second opinion on the removal of the screw. Their bones are so tiny that removing the screw could possibly leave such a big hole that there is a chance of rebreaking
Definitely talk to the vet about that!
I am sure that with time, she'll put weight on the leg,but for now it's best that she isn't. I hope she heals fast
