Question to get or not to get a Yorkie w/2 big dogs??

I really need the input of you more experienced Yorkie families. PLEASE give me your honest reactions to my situation:
I am a full-time, at-home mom and my husband works full-time. We have three grown sons living on their own and one son in high school who'll be going off to college soon. We have two large dogs whom we love and enjoy being with and caring for as well. However, I still long for a tiny dog that I could indulge in a way one just can not do with a large dog. I adore our two dogs totally but I really feel that there is a hole in my heart that has been waiting for a small dog for many years.

Both our dogs are Canine Good Citizens, are spayed/neutered, two years old, very well trained and adjusted, and frequently play with other dogs of all sizes (we go to the dog park once to twice a day). There has been no aggression ever seen in either dog and they both have gentle, calm, very "laid back" temperaments.

Do you think it would be appropriate to bring a Yorkie into our family? Do any of you have experience having a Yorkie and another large dog? One of the reasons I was considering a Yorkie is because although they are very small dogs, they have that "fiesty" edge that terriers are known for. I thought a Yorkie wouldn't be intimidated by a larger dog (or two) and would be able to hold her/his own in a family with them. If you think this is possible, would you suggest we bring a puppy or a fully grown dog into our family?

Thanks so much for your help.
Signed,
