I would give 1 to 2 tablespoons to a 1/2 cup of kibble. BUT I'v also heard that there is no such thing as giving too much pumpkin, correct me if I'm wrong anyone

What I do is give boiled chicken, white rice and canned pumpkin, mix it all together for a few days and see if that takes away the runny stool. If it does then add the kibble back into it slowly

As for the stool sample, I say take a plastic spoon and spoon it up then put it in the cup or bag. GROSS I know
