This technique did not seem to be hand signals - it's a way of training the dog to come to your open palm - it seems to be the 1st step in building other training & a way to help dogs who might be skittish around other people - while I don't have this problem, sometimes Roxie is slow to come or acts like she's in trouble when she's not.
