[LIL MIS' MAGIC]

I feed Royal Canin for a few months but switched because I felt like Magic & Sailor were too "itchy". My vet says sometimes the chicken products can cause the "itchies'. (I have switched foods a couple of times and am currently feeding Natural Balance Sweet Potatoe & Fish.)

Recently Sailor has gotten worse again - to the point of losing patches of hair at a time. Our vet has given her shots the last 2 months but will be trying to move her to some pills instead....and if she continues we will do the allergy testing. Sailor's problem does seem to be seasonal and not food related.....but this year between 2 straight months of ran and now extreme heat for several weeks she seems worse.

So be sure to check with your vet is you notice alot of scratching....so "hot spots" do not develop. (Last Friday Sailor had a place start on her side that could have devloped into one - luckly her shot helped her for now.)
