Where I live (texas) - the toads aren't toxic ( I called the ER Hospital the first time my girls found one) but if a dog tries to pick one up they'll salvitate and drool exessively. I did days of reading about toads because I was scared of them too for my girls.

Sorry, but if I had those around my yard, I would find something to trap or kill them... they get HUGE!!!
It's giving me the creeps just thinking about them.
