when this happened to rosie the vet told me that were they have a upset tummy they can scratch the linning of there tum and causes bloody stools, when there pups it can be anything that causes it eating things they shouldnt IE eating plants, rosie had to eat small amount of chicken and loads of water, but i did take her to the vet just incase it was something nasty that needed attention.
