WOW, it's all starting to make sense now. Why I didn't think about the alpha male thing, I don't know. Maybe cuz I'd never have thought that Lucky would think of himself as the alpha. But when you (Ichabob) mentioned a very similar scenario, it dawned on me that surely he would assume the alpha male status with something that involved me as he and Lexie are very much "my babies". I do scold him when he throws these "tantrums"; he does know that above all else,Mommy and Daddy are in charge. Thanks soooo much for all of your help
