Well regardless if the children are "well behaved" in your eyes or not, you can't just leave the children at home like you CAN leave a dog at home.
I agree people do need to teach there children respect and how to behave but some kids do not get to be around cute little pups or even get to see any, and probably do get excited to see one. It just doesn't sound right for you to say "not everyone likes children either", I mean you had your dog at a clothing store I assume... not a pet store.
Not to sound rude but it irritates me to hear children called brats just because they get really excited to see precious pups and such but maybe because I am a MOM.
